I have owned a 1990 9000 CD since 2004 with. Picked the car up at auction in CT for $2,500 with 100k on it. Granted the car came from Greenwich and was serviced exclusivley at Pray Saab this has been the best car I have ever owned. My other car is a 1991 Toyota Corolla which I use to commute to work. In comparision the 9k has actually been more reliable then the Corolla. For a 20 year old car ( it was built in 89) this car is in amazing conditon. I am going to try and post of picture of it.
Here is the only major work that has been done to the car. Car currently has 140k on it
Clutch at 110K due to slave failure..Was told the clutch still had plenty of life to it but was still replaced.
3 sets of genuine saab brake pads
Still have ice cold r12 ac with a compressor replaced at 90k
DI casette at 70k. Current one is from 97 and still going strong ( I have a spare in the trunk just in case.)
Heater core at 80k
Besides that just regular oil changes and a few sets of tires.
This picture was taken a not long ago when I briefly lived in VT.
