Hey, in case anybody wants to see what a rusted out shock tower looks like here's a perfect example. This is the passenger side which seems to rust out first for some reason. The drivers side is on the way out, but not nearly as bad. I was driving around with effectively no damping and it was pretty unstable, especially over bumps. You can see where the shock was actually smacking into the speaker... oops! I put a temporary fix in there until I can weld it all up nicely. Anyway, here's a link to the pics:
