Voltage range for IAC operation on a B202L Posted by Kevin M [Email] (#1193) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Kevin M) on Tue, 1 Jun 2010 17:20:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Well, the relatively new IAC is toast- no movement of the shutter when ~12Vdc is placed on the terminals. The car has been stalling or idling very poorly when the A/C would call. So, tonight I pulled the IAC, turned on the ignition with the a/c calling: 12.1 Vdc at the connector and no shutter movement.
Somewhere I read that the voltage ranges should be between 1 and 9v. Would someone verify the voltage ranges? My concern is that the ECM is presenting too high of voltage levels which may have lead to a preme failure of the IAC. When I get the new one, I'll back-probe the connector and see what's what.
Cheers,
Kev
