Hi folks - I've owned an '83 900T (1993-2002), '94 900 S V6 (2002-08), '02 9-5 (2006-10) but am currently SAAB-less. I want to get back in but have only a few thousand to spend; fortunately, I have significant mechanical experience from the other cars so I can get a high mileage car or even a project car.
Initial thoughts were '97-98 900 or early 9-3, or possibly a late 80s/early 90s C900, but a 1995 9000 CS turbo came up locally which looks nice, auto with 139K. I'd prefer manual but could live with it. Seller and I are off in price by about $1000 but if we can find a match, any thoughts on the merits of these different vehicles? I've only ridden in a few 9000s, never driven one, and that was several years ago. There's no urgency either; I have another daily driver right now.
Thanks, Derek
