Dead center of front edge (or if you want dead center of rear edge). Go straight down in with a small screwdriver. The console will yield and let the blade in. Then angle it nearly straight towards the back of the car and push a ways: It will depress the tongue of a plastic catch that's holding the switch pack in, and the thing will nicely lift up.

Then you'll have to detach the cable, pry at front-of-car end and it will swivel free, rear end is hooked by a spring steel piece.

I just went out to the car and checked this and removed mine, time to do driver window switch again as it's getting touchy, doesn't always go down first push.

It separates at the seam about midway, pry the flexible sides free at each of the six catches, three each side, say with a dull paring knife.

As I recall it's best done with the switches pointed up, top lifted off the back section, leaving everything in place, and reassembled same way. So prop one end of the thing up with a block, thick magazine or CD case, so it sits level before starting. Do a search on here and maybe you can find detailed instructions.

My local indy Cy says best thing to clean these is an old-fashioned typewriter eraser, the kind that's like a real fat pencil with coarse eraser in it instead of lead, gets right into the tight spaces where the contacts are. GET RID OF ALL DUST of course before reassembly.
