Pry FRONT edge, center, pushing to rear.

Last post I said you could also pry rear edge, but then I looked at switch pack and rear edge has two catches, off to each side, and neither one has the tongue to release them that the front edge's single catch does.

So go down in vertical, front edge center, then point the screwdriver towards the rear of the car and push in a little and it releases and up the switch pack comes.

I guess wear on those grey posts that derf mentions could contribute to bad switch contact, they're the swivel tip that tips the contacts one way or other, as well as the spring that maintains it. They come lubed with silicone grease from the factory, and it wouldn't hurt to dab a little fresh on their tips. But they have a lot of travel and would have to wear a lot for their spring pressure to fall away.

The big problem is arcing at the switch contacts and the burning and pitting of the contacts that creates. I wonder if window motors that are freshly lubed, and window mechs and tracks also lubed, make for less arcing?
