I got the EPC program to load in Windows XP Professional, but unfortunately it wrote a program directly into a core process of the operating system, and now that computer won't boot in Windows. Of course, I know that others have had success with it. I'm told that Windows will allow stuff to be written in odd locations, and this was just bad luck. So now I've got a failing CV joint on a bum Empi driveshaft, the wrong Saab OME driveshaft for an unknown model year that just arrived from the only junkyard I could find that had one, a Saab dealership that was only able to give me some phone numbers to junkyards and not any part numbers, and a computer in which I'm going to have to re-load the OS. The best part is that my son had a mega-expensive ($2K) engineering program on that computer, for which he had a one-time-only student license. Nice.
