Many, many times, the part number printed or stamped on parts are only a first generation part number at factory that has long been lost in super-sessions that it is no longer possible to trace through EPC.
Let's say that someone would load a 2001 EPC, it might be a chance that the part number is still there but it might not.
Sometimes, you can check with a Saab dealer and they might have yet another system that digs deeper into the old files and find a cross over part number.
