Here's a mini write-up I did after I installed my Bilsteins a few years ago.
http://saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9000/index.html?bID=260774
I only have an additional 50K on the car since they were put on, but I frequently am happy that I installed them. They perform great. I still maintain that while driving above parking lot speeds, they are very smooth, but at very low speeds over road imperfections they can be harsh.
Let me put it this way, if you ever drive your car at or above 70MPH, you'll want a real shock controlling the attitude of the car. Bilsteins do that. Sachs do not. Even if Sachs did that, they would wear out in 20K miles due to the weight and power of the 9000. Install the Bilsteins with fresh upper strut mounts and you never need to worry about them again.
