Wondering if the temp sensor ACC3 uses to mix air?

Noel,
I tried 3 known good ACCs with all the same behavior. I made sure the cable connection at the mixer flap works manually and I can shut off heat or make it full heat. If you pull the radio/CD ACC you can get your hand right into the servo/cable connection that controls the mixer flap.
When adjusting from High Heat to Low AC the servo that controls the mixer flap does nothing. The AC comes on but is useless unless the mixer flap shuts of the heat and vise versa. I know I can wait until summer at this point but I seem to be motivated to clear up all these lingering issues that have been around far longer than they should have been.
One thing that I'm not sure of is that if the mixer temp sensor that was in the later 9000s could be dead enough that it causes the servo not to work. I thinks it's just to the right of the servo connection and penetrates the air mix chamber of the heater box.
Anybody have any thoughts on the matter?
Thanks,
Jeff
