This morning the dashboard lights came on and the check engine light stayed on: three flashes.
From this board I know: three flashes is the air intake temp. sensor.
Checking the sensor I saw a broken wire.
After soldering the two pieces together the check engine light is still on.
After start and restart light still on.
I measured the following data (outside temp 10 degrees Celsius = 50 degrees Fahrenheit ) and no key in ignition: resistance sensor (with loose connector) 2300 Ohm and for the loose connector and wire to the CPU 2200 Ohm
Connector and sensor together 1000 Ohm
Ignition on:
Voltage on the connector with wire (no sensor attached) : 5 V and with attached sensor 3.2 V.
What to do next?
