As I recall, a dead heater valve caused this problem on my C900. Not sure if it applies to the 9K, though... don't think there's valve in the system.
How old is your radiator? Do you have enough coolant? Is your t-stat working properly? Is your cooling fan on all the time? And does your ACC work correctly? Not sure, but if the flaps in either the blower box or the air distribution box (under the dash) weren't opening correctly it could result in this.
