$400/chair seems like a lot, but for a matched pair really isn't all that bad on car I plan to keep, and they would be salable if necessary.
My driver's seat has some splits; the passenger's could maybe be revived with a lot of work.
Right now I'm just looking at options. Saabstuff seems to do good work, and that makes a difference. I don't want it to look half-baked. I do like some kind of cloth, but can go either way.
My car is still out west but should be back in the fall, so right now I'm thinking and planning and budgeting for work. The interior is taupe, which is OK but is too light colored (shows everything). I'd probably go to a darker color and maybe find a dark leather rear seat out of another car. Perfect matching isn't necessary.
