Testing Tolerances for SRS, Antilock, etc in '91 9KT? Posted by SpykedNine [Email] ![]() ![]() |
Hello all,
I'm new to this subforum, having purchased Railhead's "Turbo Trubo" '91 (LH, not Trionic).
The car is solid but I'd like to take care of a few issues -
1) SRS is suddenly magically on after his last mechanic looked at it - I assume he had not properly set the driver, or passenger airbag, but aside from removing and rechecking connections, I don't know what to do here.
2) Is there an easy way to check which of the antilock sensors may be on the fritz? The brakes are all fine (pulled wheels and looked, well within visual tolerances, at least) - but I don't want to try to exchange any sensors at random to make the light go away.
3) There's an odd drain off of fuse 14 ACC/EC even with the car off; when it's removed, the drain ceases - I've looked behind the fusebox briefly, but do not consider myself knowledgeable enough to tear into the dash of this thing to try to trace leads.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
