Hi Noel.
Really, the only way I've found to solve the problem is to realign the sunroof panel. It's not as hard as it sounds but there is quite a bit of trial and error involved. First, open the sunroof about half way and remove the 3 or 4 phillips screws that fasten the plastic trim to it.(Front edge, bottom of panel.) Slide the plastic back as far as it will go. You may need to close the sunroof while holding the plastic part. Now the T25 torx head screws are accessible. Loosen them all, 3 on each side. The holes in the sunroof panel allow for about 1/4 in of adjustment up, down, forward of aft. Now for the adjustment. Be sure the sunroof is in the state that it would be fully closed. Operate switch to slide it back, then operate switch to slide it forward. Hold until it stops by itself. Now starting with the passenger side front, hold the sunroof panel up and slightly forward, feeling the top side for evenness with the roof and tighten the right front screw enough to stay in place. Now push up the rear of the pass side from outside of the car and visually check the heighth of the front. If the front looks too low, raise it a bit and repeat. When the right side looks ok, tighten the rear screw enough to hold and repeat the proces on the driver side. When the top looks nice and level. tighten all 6 screws and check to see that the top operates correctly. If it does, open the sunroof about 1/2 way, slide the plastic trim forward and reattach with the phillips screws. PS: The seal isn't water tight so be sure to clean out the drains. I use compressed air and blow dowh the front drains untill I can hear air coming out inside of the lower corner of the windshield pillar. The rear drains are a little trickier. Under the car behind the rear wheel to the inside, rhere are 2 rubber hoses on each side. make sure they are clear of debris and then blow compressed air through them. Thats it. Total time, about an hour after having done a few. Dan at Road Tested Saabs in Indianapolis.
