Is There a Substantial Difference in 93 900s and 89 900 Posted by Roger D [Email] (#1121) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Roger D) on Wed, 3 Aug 2011 07:45:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Got a 93 900s that I delivered to my son out of state. While driving it there the ABS lights started coming on. He has to complete a change-of-owner from me to him. To make the change it requires a brake/light inspection. Problem is the anti-lock and brake fluid lights are on quite a bit. Brake function is excellent. Had it checked by a well known indie who said brake function is fine. Problem is that when it went to the shop the lights stayed out so no codes could be read. I have the factory ABS service manual for 88-89 9000. It's section 5.2. I looked at the manual and it seems to be the same stuff as the 900 brake system. My question is if I send my son the 9K manual could it send him in the wrong direction if he uses it to diagnose the 900 problem?
