The ACC uses a bunch of sensors to blow comfortable air at you, and any one of those could be bad, which would affect the mixer flap position. Mine died, and while waiting for the new part to arrive, I just removed the ACC, stuck my hand in there, and moved the flap myself as needed. If you're getting no heat at all, and you don't smell coolant, the flap is probably just not moving.
Wait for the engine to heat up, turn on ECON, and pull the flap toward you. Extend your arm straight, and reach in through the ACC hole in the dash from the driver's seat (LH drive cars). At that angle, you'll pretty much put your hand right where it needs to be (upper-right side, about mid way between firewall and fascia). That'll direct air through the heater core, and you can determine whether it's an electrical problem or mechanical failure.
To test the thermostat without disassembling anything, wait till the engine warms up a bit, then open the hood and touch the large radiator hose. If it's hot, your thermostat is open and circulating coolant. If not, replace the thermostat.
Other culprit could be the cabin temp sensor (fan thing under the seat heater switches) or air temp sensor in the ducting.
