almost right on (the '03 9-5) to being 3 mph high. I haven't checked it at a lot of speeds, but it seems to be consistent. The '99 9-3 is also almost dead on.
I use the cops' radar trailers, set the cruise on a speed and drive at the trailer. 2-3 mph high is normal. I've also timed my '96 9K mile-to-mile for several miles using the stopwatch and tachymeter on my wristwatch. The road markers are not totally accurate, but over a dozen or so with the cruise set on 75 I find I'm within the same range, and the speedo is always high.
What's weird with Ben's car is that the variance changes. That doesn't make sense to me.
