New member! This fantastic site has really helped me improve my mechanic skills but I am stumped on this one. My well maintained 98 9000 CSE Turbo (99,900 miles) died coming into the driveway. I recently replaced the pump (a month ago) after it went. I just put in a new DIC ordered from EEuroparts (was meant to be a backup) even though Ari's test were positive for DIC and CPS (light coming on, etc.). I did Ari's tests and noticed that I can hear the pump buzz at the ON position before start up but not when I jump fuses 14 - 22. I get 12 V at 22 and between the 2 fuses as well. I tried replacing the 14 fuse but no change. When cranking the car I get 10+ V on fuse 14 when grounded (fuse in car). I get 10+ V at fuel pump connector end and resistance on thick black ground wire is 0.6 ohms. Sprayed carb cleaner in intake and car chugged a bit (better) but didn't completely turn over. Can this new pump be bad even though it makes noise at ON?
