brake hose twisted after caliper installation

Guys, I put a new rear caliper in and the emergency brake works good now. But the brake hose that screws into the caliper is about one half turn out of sync with the caliper. In other words, when the hose is tight, there is tension on it. It wants the caliper turned about 180 degrees. So now the hose is under tension, and the car is gonna be bouncing up and down... I'm wondering if this is bad for the hose. Is there anything I can do about this?
