Ignition blowout is indistinguishable from fuel cut. Try gapped at .039 and see if the situation improves, if so, Time for a new DIC.
However, given the fuel flow comments, I'm not sold on this being an ignition issue. Did you bother to change the filter? that would be the obvious first step, it could be clogged with water.
