Window switch unit R & R

This is just for those who spill a soft drink onto the window switch unit. It can be disassembled, cleaned, and work fine BUT…
The metal contacts ( "V's") ARE not all the same but are similar,
there is one with two notches for the "Lock" button
there is one that is flat for the "Off / On" button
there are two that have contacts RIVETED on and have an extra kink for the outside position on each of the FRONT window switches (There are two contacts for each window switch)
there are 6 (or 8 if you have the sunroof) that are interchangeable.
Gently pry the top section away from the body and all of those bits will fall out but nothing else. Clean under soap and water, use a pencil eraser to clean the contacts, reassemble and you have a switch unit that functions normally.
Get one of those metal "V"s out of place and you blow fuses, fuse number 11 for the front windows, takes a 30 amp, they can be purchased in bulk at any FLAPS.
