Radiator High Spd Fuse Melted Again Posted by 2 Saabs [Email] (#765) [Profile/Gallery] (more from 2 Saabs) on Mon, 12 Oct 2015 09:54:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
A couple of years ago I replaced the 30amp fuse for the high speed fan with an inline fuse holder since the original fuse had melted into the wiring block. I just check the inline holder and it had a melted unblow fuse in it. Not good. I guess I am drawing too much through the circuit but why? The low speed fan was operating ok and rarely did it go into high speed mode. Is it the resister? Is the low speed fan running too long? I have the electronic radiator fan switch so I do not rely on the thermocontact switch working.
