Mine is green. Yes. It's green. It's just broken. The circular handle is hard to grasp.
My confusion is that EVERY auto transmission dipstick i located at the salvage yard was yellow or black and much longer than my green one.
So I am asking if anyone knows of a different transmission. It's hard, of course, to identify year and model of a junk car in a field. I was not pulling up oil dipsticks. I know where they are located and they are distinctive looking and say "oil" right on them. I was pulling up transmission fluid dipsticks with round handles that were yellow and longer than the one in my car.
What gives?
My car originally had a 6 cylinder engine.
