My 93 9kt gets a bit of condensation when I turn it ON in cold weather, it burns off quickly though. I suspect a heater core leak as well, I also smell a bit of coolant occasionally. I'm not too worried, as it's not causing any major problems and the coolant level is steady.
I think that you car is covered by the SRS computer / heater core recall. When the core leaks, it dropps coolant onto the SRS computer, causing it to fail. It's pretty easy to check to see if the recall has been done - take off the covering of the center console, in the driver's side footwell. There you will find the SRS control module. If the recall has been done, you should find that they installed a "shield" over the SRS computer (and by shield, I mean a piece of plastic that resembles, and probably is, a plastic TV-dinner tray, except of less quality construction). If the car is taken in to have the recall done and the heater core is already leaking, they will apparently replace the core, the SRS module, and maybe some other stuff (not too sure on the details, look in earlier posts). If the core isn't leaking too badly, they'll usually just put on the "shield" and send you home to wait until it does start to leak.
