9000 know-it-alls,
I just bought my wife this '89 9000CD about a month ago. Since then, I've notice a very hot problem. The ACC, is always pumping out hot air! We turn the fan down to 1, and push the temp all the way to low, and it still cooks us. It got really bad on our recent 10 hour trip to Pennsilvania. We drove at night, with the outside temp reading 3 above, and I had the damn sunroof open, while wearing a short sleeve shirt! I really need to fix this, or my wife is going to kill me! I've owned an '86 900S for almost three years now, and I remember when I bought it that the first day it got really cold enough to use the heater, it didn't work. Turned out it was the controll shaft that opens/closes the heat valve had become disconnected. Is there a similar shaft on the ACC? I'm not to sure about this ACC thing. My "MCA"(manual climate control) in my 900S works fine to me! Do we really need all these fancy electronics?
