I'm asking cause my Turbo blew in my 88 9k t.
i think it blew cause it made a bunch of screaching noises and smoked so much and there was oil leaking out from the top of it.
Plus my car wouldn't start and/or stay running and it wouldn't rev up.
So i guess the turbo died
so how hard is it. I saw that rebuild kit on that swedish dymanics webiste for $99.00, is that worth it?? does it have everyhting that i would need?
what should i do? It says to line up a shaft and compressor wheel??? what's that mean.
is there a web site that has a walk through of the rebuild or some picutres??
can somebody please help me. I'm not sure if i want to rebuild it or buy a junk yard turbo for $250.
thanks again
