ATF cooling lines: where is inlet & outlet line ?

I plan to install an additional ATF cooler in series with the actual cooler. It a 12"x8"x3/4" rad-like Aluminum piece. It seems locigal to put it in the return line from the cooler to the auto trany.
Where is the return line on the radiator side ?
There seems to be enough space on the right of the AC Fan to subject it to good frontal air flow.
Should one be concerned with too much cooling of the ATF ?
92 9000T automatic, 110K miles
PS with cooling and frequent ATF change, I will try to get +250K miles out this box.
Thanks!
