timing chain/vibration/mounts

Hey all-my baby (91 9KT) has hit the 130K mark and I've decided to do the timing chain out of fear. It's starting to get noisy so I don't want to risk it. In the mean time, the car has developed a VERY nasty but ntermittent shake-its almost as if the engine/tranny are shaking side to side under boost/acceleration-and the entire front end does a dance. I am replacing the engine mounts when she goes in for the chain and am wondering if this is likely to solve the problem. Also-as of late the car overboosts a lot and runs into fuel cutoff with a tremendous jerk as a result. Is this a vacuum leak somewhere? The vac lines all look ok but I can't figure it out. Its more common under heavy throttle/load. Recent plugs-NGK's and correctly gapped, New DI 20k ago. Hey-while we're at it, this car has gotten loud and rides rough as an old truck. Especially noticeable on expansion joists-bridges and the like and our NY metro potholes. The steering is a little loose and the car seems to jiggle almost diagonally. Shocks/stuts ok. Ideas? Help, as always, is much appreciated. Many thanks-John
