I've never done the tranny mount. They usually don't fail. I can't give you an estimate on those.
If you've never done it before, I'd give the two lower engine mounts about three hours. It should take less, but you want to take your time. Once you're in there, it's a good idea to look around for other issues, like leaking main seals and weeping water pumps. I'd replace the belts if they aren't new, and check the bearings in the idler pulleys. Also check the bearings in the alternator.
The good thing about doing it yourself is you can check out those other systems and know their condition, versus taking the mechanics word that they're OK or need work. But having done mounts a few times, the $180 is attractive. If someone offered me $120 to do it, I'd jump at it, and $180 is decent. I haven't checked what it will take to do the tranny mount - it could be cake, or it could be a pain.
