Whats with this? I had a brand new radiator installed 23k ago, and now it has a pin hole leak at the very top under the mounting bracket. It leaked out a bunch of coolant over night. Can I drive on the freeway without the cap. Un presserized? So it doesnt build up pressure and push coolant out?
It was an expensive part to replace.
Its a made in Denmark and is a Nissens brand. Part # 162705. The mechanic who installed it said they wouldnt touch it because its 2 years old. No warranty no nothing, just here shell out another $400 bucks for a new one. When will this end.
So, if you are going to have a new radiator installed in your 9KT Auto, stay away for Nissens radiators
PS, how much bars leak is to much bars leak? I need to drive it about 90 miles to my mechanic.
