Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. The radiator is a ridiculously easy job in the 9000. I got my radiator for 28 bucks out of a u-pull junkyard, took 1 hour and a half (first time I ever did it in a 9000), cleaned up some messy vacuum hose while I was at it, and haven't had a problem since. You don't even need any special tools or anything. I think I used some regular box-end wrenches, a 3/8" socket set, and a flat and phillips head screwdriver. Hell, you can do half of the job with the Saab toolkit that came with your car. 28 bucks and dirty fingers, or 400-600 dollars and an uneasy feeling when you drive. Take your pick. Plus, since you're lucky enough to be a Californian, an un-corroded radiator should be a SNAP to find. Even better, you have all of us here to talk you through it (that is, if you even end up needing help). The only way to get it done right is to do it yourself.
