We've got almost the same car, yours is just one year newer. Personally, I have never understood the appeal of carpeted floor mats. For someone who lives in the city, perhaps, if you never walk on anything but pavement or clean grass maybe. Out in the sticks where I grew up though (and hope to live again someday), driveways are gravel and mud, parking spaces get muddy, etc.. For that, rubber floor mats make much more sense. The carpeted ones never really get truly clean once they get a good mudding, at least not the ones I've had, and I can't stand dirty carpet! :) After all, that's why I use floor mats in the first place.

I was using the Weathertech floor mats, which are excellent (they advertise in some car mags, as well as Popular mechanics, etc..), especially the rear mats, which are huge, and easily trimmed so that they fit perfectly and cover the entire floor in the back seat. The fronts are great, but I wored the driver side thin and a hole right through it in a few years. Believe it or not, now I am using a mat made by Kraco, which is a similar design to the weathertech, but made of thicker rubber, and also larger to cover more of the floor. I've found them at most auto parts stores, they're called 'Absolute Best' if I recall correctly. They are $17 each though, I think, for the front. Had to cut the driver mat short though, so it wouldn't interfere with the pedals, but this is par for the course on any mat I've tried so far..
