1993 9000 cd turbo 5spd
First, in 1st and 2nd gear under acceleration, the boost gauge would go to the beginning of the red. "This is about right"
on the highway in 4th or 5th gear, under hard acceleration, "what was your RPM when you put the pedal to the metal? was it above 3000? "go down to 1800 rpm and accelerate through the gears use 4000 for shift points and if it doesn "feel" right there could be a problem, again could be as simple as poor plug maintenacnce. 93s (200hp) should perform quite well because of the lower gearing.
Secondly, when the car idled (the car was parked,) I could feel a tremor through the steering wheel every few seconds " listen to the gear shift hold in neutral between index and thumb it should be rythmetic and smooth with even pulses. If not you could have a plug or two gapped to large."
Is this something I should be concerned with when making a purchasing decision. "I would sort this out before purchasing or place a codisil on the purchase"
The boost gauge reading worries me the most. "I would be concerned about the roughness"
