PS fluid in it and in about 6 months both piston seals failed. Now this could have been a coincid4ence but I haven't seen any racks leak this badly with only 80 K on the clock. I rebuilt the rack using Saginaw seals from Chevy and it was still good several years later but no more Prestone Fluid. Only GM Good Wrwnch. Another Saab owner used the Seal Restorer from GM on a non leaking rack and the steering became unbelievable hard to steer. After this I drained and flushed the unit but it leaked for about a month and then gradually sealed up. Car was sold so lost track of long term results.
BTW- Saab Technical Service Manual specifies GM Power Steering fluid (4634)in big bold print. Saab no longer specifies changing this fluid.
