Probably not as long as you don't use bad gasoline that will start pinging already @0.6 bar. "Base-boost" should be something like 0.45 bar, and everything above that is regulated and allowed by APC depending on octane-rating, RPM, knock-sensor, weather, colour of your eyes etc. If you happend to use gasoline with so low octane-number that engine start pinging at 0.6 bar, then your APC won't be able to lower the boost.
I don't believe it's such a problem running 0.6 bar base boost, but if you want to be sure, fix it. It's probably just a sticking wastegate...
( 0.6 bar isn't that much... )
