Definately get it and if possible get a lower deductible for more money and a longer time period if possible. I think almost everybody on this board has spent at or near $1000 on repairs to their saab over the last 3 years. Their reliable, but fickle machines that will run great for months without a peep and then over the course of a couple weeks it will seem like your car is in the shop more than it's out of it.
Engine mounts will cost $800 to have a shop change all five.
Heater cores are a couple hundred
Trannies, depending on driving, end up being rebuild around 100,000 miles thats $1800. Besides you could rag on that tranny and know you would get a new one for only $100.
One 4 wheel brake job w/ rotors, by dealer prices is, about $500
Belts, pulleys, tensioners, etc.. another hundred or two.
This is not meant to scare you but they are common repairs.
