When I first bought my 93 9kt cd 19 months ago, the SRS light went on its own. Went to dealer for an intermitent starting problem, which turned out to be a faulty DI after much much trouble. Was told that the SRS control module needs to be replaced at USD2000. Later, the dealer seemed to have fixed it without any mentioning of any labor or parts. I don't think they did anything. There are no dealers who would do a USD2000 job and then charge 0 price for it.
Why? Any tricks we can do?
