You may be okay if you have driven it for more than a year after the swap. SAAB may not have made the distinction between an auto and a 5spd for MY87.
The intermediate shaft (or bearing) support is the rear engine mount assembly. For the mount is integral with the bearing housing. At least for MY94 it is that way. May be some other model year also. There is a slight difference in offset of the bearing between an auto and a 5spd. The rear engine mount has marking "A" for auto, and "M" for 5spd.
The slight difference in offset wreak havoc for several people on this board who went through the conversion but didn't pay attention. It wasn't until my third imtermediate shaft (at about $160 a piece) did I notice the difference and made it right.
