That is a lot of systems to all have out at the same time. My '87 has been plagued by some electrical demons, but never that many at once. It could be, that the ground connections behind the battery are all simply very corroded, though to get to the point where the systems connected there actually didn't work at all, would be quite unusual with only 100k miles. I cannot think of any single failure which would allow the car to start and run normally, yet cause failures of all the systems you mentioned. Good luck tracking it down if you buy the car!
I don't know how your state is with inspections (ours doesn't have any), but frankly, I would really see that the owner fixes the electrical at LEAST so that the headlights and turn signals work. Without those, the car really isn't driveable in my eyes. But hey, lots of brand new cars have lights and turn signals that don't work either, or headlights that work on high beam during the day.. :)
Any idea off hand, how much recovering the front seats, door panels, and headline cost? Occassionally think of having this done in my car...
