I'm doing pretty much the same as you for illumination, just tapping off an existing source (and also daisy chaining at the gauge cluster itself for this, as well as power/ground). For ground, I'm probably going to go to the same spot as all my stereo gear, which has a big 10 gauge ground going to same place as my amps are grounded, into the body near the bolts holding the rear of the center console on. For power, I am going to add an additional relay under the dash, triggered by the stock stereo switched power wire, which will run power directly from the battery, via my AGU fuseholder (this is also where my amplifier's get power, everything coming off a 6 gauge wire then distributed).

For the boost, what's wrong with just 'T'-ing off the existing boost gauge? I don't see why you need to bring boost all the way from the engine compartment, when it's already right there..

Someday I might like to install an oil pressure and oil temp gaugue though. Paul, could you let us know what senders you need to get (if they don't come with your gauge), and where you go about connecting them to the engine? Thanks!
