It's not possible to draw a schematic here, so I'll try to describe:
Power for gauges: Cigarette lighter connector
Lighting: Lighter/tray light connector
All the electrical power is available right there where you will be installing them. That's the good news. The hard part is fabricating wires for the number of gauges you intend to install, five for me. Use typical male connectors to plug into the existing harness, then solder branches from that to each gauge to female connectors for each gauge. You'll need four splits: Power and illumination (+ and - for each), in addition to the sender wires. The VDO boost gauge requires no power except illumination.
I could draw this up and fax it to you if you like.
