When I jumped the blue white to black, I got the hs fan. When I jumped the blue to black, nada, zip, nothing. I should tell you that the key was NOT in the "on" position at any time.
When I jumped the sockets, again the key was not turned on, both fans worked as I tested each socket at the fuse/relay box.
I suspect that the ls relay is shot. The hs relay is the white one (p/n 95 22 061) and appears to be operational. I could not find a similar ls relay (p/n 85 22 310) in the relay box. I need to check further up the firewall and in the passenger compartment to see if there is a similar relay to test with. Will see.
Bottom line is that I think the ls fan never comes on.
