Do you have evidence to suggest that your cars running M1 have experienced valve-train failures as a result of running M1. That's about as logical as saying you ran Exxon gas in all three and the gas is to blame. Or, the stock market took a dip that day, so let's blame it as well.
I've never once in Mobil 1's 25-year history known of *anyone* having an oil-related engine problem, short of leaks resulting from sludge-removal, while running it or any other quality synthetic oil. To suggest that any are detrimental to your engine is ludicrous. I don't run M1, but have used synthetics for many years without ANY problems, and this is not an anomally.
I think you need to find the source of your unspecified "valve train failures" and quit disseminating inaccurate information, even though most people on this forum aren't inclined to accept it based on the vague information given, I'm sure.
