need to do is talk with any professional engine rebuilder and get his opinion on dino vs. syn. In fact talk with the owner of MotorMeister, one of the largest volume Porsche rebuilders in the country. He'll tell you the difference. He can tell as soon as he tears the engine down whether the owner used syn. or dino. He has witnessed numerous cases of excessive valve train wear due to use of syn. oil. I've given the stuff more than enough chances, 3 engines with M1 and all 3 had premature valve train wear. We would all like to set up our own labs and do deductive research but come on 3 failures is enough for me. The source of unspecified valve train wear is the lubricant failed to perform properly and it happened to my cars. It's fact not inaccurate information, I'm sure!!
