I will give my opinion on what you should do...... Posted by TimN [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Add CD to 89 9000, get new front speakers. FM CD changer?, Josh Rogers, Thu, 29 Mar 2001 00:46:00 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Since you say your reception isn't that great I would consider a new head unit. Blaupunkt makes a great setup that you might like for your car. First of all, the equalizer is nice but not that necessary with a good head unit these days. (1) Blaupunkt Malibu cassette unit with CD changer controls. (2) Blaupunkt in dash 5 CD changer IDC-A05. Put this in for the equilizer. The Malibu has a built in equalizer. This setup allows you to change CD's without going to the trunk. Nice for traveling. You can get the thummer remote which attaches to your steering wheel for more convenience (check out Aaron Gilberts site for pictures of this). As for speakers, I would recommend some MB Quart 4" components. I have Quarts and love them. If you like any of these ideas you can email me for the best places to purchase these components. HTH
