Replace the stock Clarion with a Sony 45*4watt in-dash CD it sounds great
pleased with the fit too. The wiring took alittle thought but even
for a professed dyslexic--I managed.
Also did the antenna as that was non-op.
1) pull it out of car from inside
2) pull out old mast
3) replace the mast with new mast from any autopart place.
4) follow the green wire with number 432 (?) to the wire marked antenna power on the head unit.
5) dont connect it wrong or the aerial will either power itself out of the
antenna motor or you will end up with an aerial that goes in a bit too far.
On speakers yes I ran into a dipstick salesmoron then shopped around
found a guy who suggested the speaker in the car were actually pretty good
as car speakers go and suggested the tweeters were the poorest of the bunch. replaced those and now wow. Next project is a Woofer in a box
in the trunk for the bass 'Boombox'.
