Some belated thoughts

In response to OEM enthusiasts, I've tried both OEM and the Deluxe pads on five Saabs, and the latter perform as well or better, don't leave NEARLY the dust, are much less expensive, and don't squeal. As absurd as this sounds, within a week after I bought my '95 Aero, I pulled the half-worn Deluxe pads on my '91 and swapped them for the half-worn OEM's on my Aero. Sorry, guys, I can't live with the dust and daily front wheel cleaning. On top of that, the damn OEM front pads on the Aero were driving me nuts with squealing.
FWIW, I have OEM's on the rear and the dust isn't an issue there, so they'll stay 'til they wear out, typically at about 70k. But when they wear out, OEM's won't be my choice. Not to derrogate, I'll wager that OEM enthusiasts have never tried these Axxis Deluxe pads, thus don't know the benefits.
