From my experiance, any increase in squeeling us mostly due to improper installation. When I first switched out the pads on my 9kt from OEM to MM's I noticed an increase in squealing. I read several different procedures and re-installed the pads on the right side, this time adding anti-squeal paste to the backs of both calipers and throroughly lubricating the slide pins. The squealing on the right side dimished dramatically (as compared to the left side by raising/lowering alternate windows. I'd suggest to make sure that you use both anti-squeal paste and slide pin grease, then see if the noise goes away. I attribute the little remaining squeal to older rotors, has anyone had experiance with this? I would like to get the ATE PowerGrove disks once they become available (93 CSE-T).
