The TCS function is scattered throughout the systems in the car. It uses the ABS to apply brakes and get wheel speed signals. It's tied into the throttle body, differently depending on if you have an automatic or manual transmission. There is a control module (different, again depending on auto or manual tranny). There is a vacuum check valve on the top of the firewall that causes many of the TCS problems. There is a sensor at the gas pedal (again different depending on tranny). Look back through various posts on TCS - between the rants, there is good information on replacing the check valve, and cleaning the electrical contacts.
